Greetings from vacation!
We are having a great week on St. George Island with my parents. The week started with some crummy weather, but the last couple of days have been perfect. Not too hot... sunny and very BEACHY!
I have some great pictures of the boys enjoying the sand and water, but this picture pretty much sums up the week for me. It's a poor quality iPhone picture taken in the dark. Definitely not the best picture I've taken over the last few days. But it's soooo cute!
The little boys are sharing a room here - just like they did last year. There is a double bed in there and we have a pack and play set up for Beck. On the first night Beck realized that he could get himself out of the pack and play and wanted to sleep with Zane. So they slept together in the big bed. Pretty cute.
Then last night we went in to check on them and found them BOTH in the pack and play - sound asleep. It didn't look very comfortable, but they were together and happy.
I love vacations because they give us all a chance to spend some together without the distractions of real life. Down time has got to be about the most important gift we can give our family. And I hope we are making memories they will take with them for the rest of their lives.
Together and happy - doesn't get much better than that!
