The weather this week has been phenomenal! I have thoroughly enjoyed the lower than average temperatures and WAY lower than normal humidity. It's been lovely! Hot is coming this weekend though - so this is probably the last day I get to work with the door and windows open.
Some updates for the week, but nothing crazy going on here...
- Zane had an eye check-up and his pressure is still exactly where it should be, so he doesn't have to go back again until December. He will need to be monitored for the rest of his life (basically) to make sure he doesn't develop glaucoma, but for now all is well! (And even long term, the chances are very small that he will develop an issue...)
- Quinn is now done with the scoliosis brace - which is very happy about - and he also had a dentist appointment. So much excitement!
- Spencer is gearing up for a virtual 4 day seminar through the Naval Academy starting on Sunday. Not sure what to expect with that - and it definitely isn't as cool as getting to do it on campus, but it's something. We are working on some college visit plans and starting to get ready for application season - despite the fact that yet ANOTHER round of testing was cancelled. I really hate that he's going into the fall without any official SAT/ACT scores, but it is what it is. Oh - and I scheduled his senior pictures for the yearbook. WOW!
- Beckett is busy eating all the snacks and playing all the video games. He's pretty much living his best life.
This weekend is all about vacation prep and celebrating Father's Day! You better believe I'm going to make ALL my boys pose for a picture! :)
Here's a picture of Spencer and Quinn - since I have sent a few of Zane and Beck recently, I thought it was only fair. :) Plus, they sure are handsome!
